Bold, revert, bold, revert, bold, or BRBRB, is an editing style employed by some users who just want to get things done. It is not edit warring, but it is also not BRD. The BRBRB editor will usually make a bold edit and, if it's rolled back, make a different bold edit, and so on, experimenting with different options until the reverting stops, indicating that, for all practical purposes, a consensus has been reached. Sometimes it's more efficient to just make a concrete edit and see if it sticks, than to debate on the talk page beforehand in a hypothetical manner. If the edit sticks, great; no discussion needed. If it doesn't, then the BRBRB editor sees if other editors will accept something else – perhaps something less radical.
