Both project banner tagging and assessing articles are an important part of the workload of most, if not all WikiProjects. However, it is tedious to regularly keep track of newer articles that fall under the scope of the the project and manually add the project banner. Hence we at WikiProject Biodiversity, Protected areas & Environment of India of WikiProject India have elected to use bot to automatically tag relevant articles. The bot automatically adds the project banner {{WP India}} and "|protected-areas=yes|protected-areas-importance=" (if not already present) to the articles in the subcategories below. Please keep in mind that these are done in good faith.
Should you find any article incorrectly tagged, or observe any unintended behaviour from the bot, kindly let the bot operator know and leave a message on the project talk page. If needed, you may remove the incorrectly added tag or an inappropriate category from the article.
If you believe an additional category should be added, please discuss your concern at the project talk page. Please note that the bot will not run on categories recursively due to the possibility of processing irrelevant categories in the category tree.
