Ilya Prusikin (Russian: Илья́ Влади́мирович Пруси́кин, born April 8 1985, Ust'-Borzya[1], Ononsky District, Chita Oblast, RSFSR, USSR), Russian musician, singer, record producer, vlogger, director and screenwriter of video clips, psychologist and teacher. Front person and founder of punk-pop-rave group Little Big from Saint Petersburg. He's also known under stage name Ilyich (Russian: «Ильич»), an in-joke referencing Vladimir Lenin's patronymic.


Life and career

Ilya Prusikin was born in a village Ust'-Borzya, Chita Oblast (now a part of Zabaykalsky Krai). With his parents, he moved to Sosnovy Bor, the subverbs of Saint Petersburg[1].


He studied at children music school, piano class.

Prusikin graduated from Saint-Petersburg State University of Culture and Arts.

In 2011, he started collaboration with a subsidiary project of the Russian fun-production studio “My Ducks Vision” by Yuri Degtyarev named “Thank you, Eva!”. It was uniting video bloggers into one large affiliate network. The “Guffy Gough Show” (2012) and “The Great Rap Battle” (2012), stylized as a children's show, in which, through recitative, the powers that be, came into confrontation with each other. Both of his programs were the network's highest rated videos and "were exposing the social plagues of society and ridiculed the well-known vices of humanity".

In 2012, Prusikin became a producer and an actor of the Internet sitcom "Police Weekdays" (Russian: «Полицейские будни»). After the third episode, the project was closed.

In 2013, Prusikin and Eldar Dzharakhov founded the artistic partnership “ClickKlak”. According to the them, the audience of ClickKlack consists of "boys and girls with an active lifestyle and a good sense of humor". The channel’s page contains such shows as “Give the Bream” (Russian: «Дай леща»), “Thrash Lotto” (Russian: «Трэш лото»), “As You Say” (Russian: «Как скажешь»), “Shocking Karaoke” (Russian: «Шокирующее караоке»), “Experiments' Destroyers” (Russian: «Разрушители экспериментов»), “Kick the Bucket” (Russian: «Сыграл в ящик»), and many others..

Musical career

In 2003, Ilyich (stage name of Ilya Prusikin) became a member of the little-known nu-metal band Tenkorr. Prusikin also gained an experience working with the other groups, Like A Virgin, St. Bastards and Construktorr among them.

He has achieved a serious level of domestic and international recognition with the band Little Big, founded on April 1, 2013. All music videos of the band are shot by its co-founder, Alina Pyazok (Russian: Алина Пязок).

Personal life

On July 6, 2016 Ilya married Irina Smelaya[2][unreliable source?].

Their son Dobrynya was born on 26 Noverber 2017[3].
