Katt is a medium size village located in Nawanshahr of Shahid Bhagat Singh Nagar district, Punjab with total 213 families residing. The Katt village has population of 1029 of which 530 are males while 499 are females as per Population Census 2011.


In Katt village population of children with age 0-6 is 99 which makes up 9.62 % of total population of village. Average Sex Ratio of Katt village is 942 which is higher than Punjab state average of 895. Child Sex Ratio for the Katt as per census is 1020, higher than Punjab average of 846[2].
