Personal Information Tim_teddybear is a bridge between my real name Tim and my nickname Teddy Bear. I chose to use this name in my Internet activities around the turn of the new millenium, as I felt I needed a unique name/username to use with all Internet activty. Sometimes I shorten it to simply "Mr Bear". I use this with many e-mail addresses, usernames in various places, some Internet forums and my www.last.fm. I'm an adult male specimen of the species homo sapiens wikipædiacus and live in Peterborough, United Kingdom an hours train journey from London. I currently study at the University of Portsmouth. The course in discussion is a BSc in Geological Hazards. I do enjoy parts of this course though I think I will start a different course in October. This time Human Geography. I am one of those people who suffer greatly from the fact that there are only twenty-four hours to a day and only seven days to a week. I have a wide range of hobbies from Turntablism to Cricket. Hobbies I like to watch films and go to the cinema regularly, strongly preferring action films and comedies such as American Pie and The Matrix. I also like such films as The Truman Show and Michael Moore's documentary, Fahrenheit 911. In addition to film, I enjoy reading, especially geography books, atlas' and science fiction. I also enjoy playing video games, however as a student, I do not have the money to spend lavishly on new titles. I enjoy listening to music, with my preferences ranging from ambient chillout music and jazz to Funky House and certain kinds of hip hop; the only styles I can't stand are Gangsta rap and Cheesy Pop. I think Wikipedia is a good source of information, though can sometimes seem inaccurate when compared to published directories. Section 3 Section 4
