Hi, my name is Tiantong Qin, and my intended majors are CS and MBA.

For the Politics of Piracy Decal Midterm 1, I have decided upon the Berkeley Software Distribution article, because I am taking CS-61A this semester, and both CS and EECS courses rely on a form of Unix (most likely a Berkeley version) to allow for practice in Python programming (and Java, C++, etc.) through Emacs and maybe other IDEs, during lab sections. Moreover, it is possible to access the lab computers remotely through a personal computer (Putty, Xming, and WinSCP for Windows). None of this information is present on the article, which mainly focuses on the details, technology, history, and evolution going forward of the Berkeley Software Distribution OS. Therefore, I will add this info onto the article and perhaps reference a professor or GSI through piazza.com, email, or another form of contact so that the editing will likely not be immediately deleted, assuming I start a discussion on the topic.
