Miss Grand Lazio is an Italian regional female beauty pageant,[1][2][3] founded in 2019 by a Colleferro-based event organizer, Romano Storace.[4][5] The winners of the contest the Miss Grand Italy national pageant.[3][6][7]

Since the inception of the Miss Grand Italy pageant, Lazio candidates won the contest once in 2021 by Marika Nardozi,[7] followed by the 2nd runner-up, won in 2022 by Sofia Moscatelli.[8] Other placements they reached remain unclarified due to a lack of national competition results publicized by both regional and national organizers.

History

After Miss Grand Italy's director, Giuseppe Puzio, began franchising the regional competitions to local organizers in 2019, the license for the Lazio region was granted to a local organizer, Romano Storace,[4][5] who is also the chairperson of an Colleferro-based modeling agency named RS Model Junior.[3][4] Romano organized the first edition of Miss Grand Lazio on August 31, 2019, at the Piazza Marcantonio Colonna in Paliano.[5] In 2022, the pageant was held parallelly with the Miss Grand Liguria pageant due to a lack of Ligurian region coordinator.[9][10] The contract between Romano Storace and Miss Grand Italy organizer was terminated in 2024 when the regional license was taken over by Alessandra Fattoruso.[6]

Several local auditions and pageants were organized annually regionwide to elect the final candidates for the Miss Grand Lazio pageant, such as in Montelanico[11] and Colleferro.[12]

Miss Grand Liguria is an Italian regional female beauty pageant,[1][2] founded in 2022 by a Colleferro-based organizer, Romano Storace.[3] The winners of the contest represent the region of Liguria in the Miss Grand Italy national pageant.[1][2][4]

Since the inception of the Miss Grand Italy pageant, Liguria candidates have never won the contest yet; however, the placements they obtained in the national round remain unclarified due to a lack of national competition results publicized by both regional and national organizers.

In 2022, after Miss Grand Italy's director, Giuseppe Puzio, began franchising the regional competitions to local organizers, the license for the Lazio region was granted to a Colleferro-based organizer, Romano Storace,[3] who also served as that year's director of the Miss Grand Lazio pageant.[1][2] Under the directorship of Romano, the first Miss Grand Liguria competition was held parallelly with the Miss Grand Lazio 2022 pageant in Colleferro,[3][5][6] where a model Melissa Yucel was named Miss Grand Liguria 2022.[7]

Later in 2023, the license of Miss Grand Liguria was then transferred to another organizer, Monica Jordan,[4][8][9] and the competition was then moved to Genoa.[8][10]

Miss Grand Marche is an Italian regional female beauty pageant,[1][2][3][4] founded in 2021 by Francesca Guidi.[5] The winners of the contest represent the region of Marche in the Miss Grand Italy,[1][2][6][7] an Italian national preliminary for Miss Grand International.[4][8]

Since the inception of the Miss Grand Italy pageant, Marche candidates have never won the contest yet; however, the placements they obtained in the national round remain unclarified due to a lack of national competition results publicized by both regional and national organizers.

After Miss Grand Italy's director, Giuseppe Puzio, began franchising the regional competitions to local organizers, the license for the Marche region was granted to a Pesaro-based organizer, Francesca Guidi,[5] who has been serving as the Miss Grand Marche's director since 2021.[1][9][10][11] Under the directorship of Francesca, the first contest of Miss Grand Marche happened on September 17, 2021, at the Modà Music Dinner Club in Gradara.[5]
