The organochlorine pentachlorophenol (PCP, C6Cl5OH) is a wood preservative biocide.

PCP is degraded by some bacteria, including Sphingobium chlorophenolicum[1]

PCP → TCHQ → TricHQ → DCHQ → 2,4-dichloro-3-hydroxy-cis,cis-muconic semialdehyde.
