Below is an alphabetical list of many of the known non-canonical spells (spells which have not appeared in the Harry Potter novels but are present in other media such as the films or games) in the Harry Potter movies and games. Description: Causes something to shoot up into the air. Used in the Chamber of Secrets film by Gilderoy Lockhart in an attempt to get rid of a snake Conjured by Draco Malfoy.

Anteoculatia

Description: Causes antlers to grow out of the target's head. Seen in Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4.

Aqua Eructo

Description: Creates a large torrent of water. Used in the Goblet of Fire video game.

Arania Exumai

Description: Knocks over or throws back spiders. Used in the Chamber of Secrets film. Used by Tom Riddle in an attempt to kill Aragog. Used heavily by Ronald Weasley and Harry Potter to ward off Aragog's family.

Aresto Momentum

Description: Slows the descent of a falling object. Used in the Prisoner of Azkaban film. Used by Albus Dumbledore to stop Harry Potter from falling to his death after a Dementor attack.

Ascendio

Description: Causes the spellcaster to ascend rapidly. Used in the Goblet of Fire film. Used by Harry to rise from the water during the Second Task after Grindylows slowed his ascent.

Avifors

Description: In the trading card game, it is unspecified; in the Chamber of Secrets video game, it transfigures bird statues into birds, and in the Goblet of Fire video game, it transfigures enemies into birds.

Description: Unspecified spell from the trading card game. The name implies baubles or trinkets of some kind.

Bombarda

Description: If done properly, it can mend a broken arm, however, if done improperly, it can remove the bones altogether. Used in the Chamber of Secrets film. Used by Lockhart in an attempt to heal Harry's broken forearm after a Bludger attack.

Carpe Retractum

Description: Also known as the Seize and Pull Charm, it pulls objects toward the caster, or vice versa. Used in the Prisoner of Azkaban and Goblet of Fire video games.

Cistem Aperio

Description: Opens a box or crate. Used in the Chamber of Secrets film. Used by Tom to open Rubeus Hagrid's crate, which held Aragog.

Colloshoo

Description: Glues one shoes to the ground. A spell seen in the Harry Potter Trading Card Game.

Colovaria

Description: Changes the style and color of the target's hair. Possibly the incantation of the color-change charm. Seen in Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4.

Description: Also known as the knockback jinx, it is used to push or topple something. Used in the Philosopher's Stone and the Chamber of Secrets video games and the trading card game.

Flipendo Duo

Description: A stronger form of Flipendo Uno, it is used to hit the opponent ten times.(only within the second game) Used in the Philosopher's Stone and Chamber of Secrets video games.

Flipendo Tria

Description: A stronger form of Flipendo Duo, it is used to create a miniature twister which hits all adjacent enemies. Used in the Chamber of Secrets video game.

Fumos

Description: Creates clouds to cover targets, making them hard to see or jinx. A spell from the Prisoner of Azkaban video game.

Description: Also known as the Freezing Charm, it freezes inflamed opponents. Used in the Philosopher's Stone, Prisoner of Azkaban, and the Goblet of Fire video games.

Description: Repairs spectacles. Used in the Philosopher's Stone and Chamber of Secrets films. Used twice by Herminone to fix Harry's glasses. The first time was on the first time she met Harry and Ron, and after the second, Harry remarked that he should remember the spell.
