Vazhalikavu

'Vazhalikkavu' is a small&beautiful temple located in the small village of Vazhalipadam in the village of Painkulam in the Panjal Grama Panchayat of Thrissur district, near the river Bharathapuzha.  The main festivals are 'Vela' on the day of Ashwati in the month of 'Kumbh' and Dedication Day on the day of Revathi in the month of Meenam.  In addition, the Darikavadham song performed daily for Devi Preethi and the Kalamezhuthu song performed during the Mandala period are some of the specialties of this place.
