I am a 27 year old geek. I am also a bookworm, and read often. I am a longtime fan of science fiction in nearly all its incarnations. I dabble in mysteries, fantasies, techno-thrillers, etc. I am an aspiring author. I also love movies and have way too much random movie information rattling around in my mind. I am also an aspiring filmmaker, especially in regards to screenwriting. I also play video games (computer games more often than not); sad but true. :-)
Right now, my goals when it comes to Wikipedia are pretty simple and straightforward. I have an extensive collection of novels, many of which I noticed recently did not have articles on Wikipedia. So for now, I have joined WikiProject Novels, and will be working my way through my collection and creating and editing articles for the various books I own. After that, around the time I retire (just kidding), we'll see what else I find to do.
As it happens, I have also joined the Films WikiProject. I have a lot of interest in films and will help out in this area as much as I can.

Recently a new worklist had been created and quietly arrived, the Cleanup listing which gives a fairly comprehensive hit list of "novels" related articles that have been tagged for something or other.
Since then a new Article alerts listing has also been added of more topic and "urgent" items worthy of our attention.
