PowerHealth Solutions (PHS) is an Australian software vendor specialising in business improvement software for hospitals, including patient costing, hospital billing and enterprise reporting.
History
[edit]- 1995 Patrick Power started PJ Power Consulting in Australia.[1]
- 2000 The company acquired a new partner, Paul Venables, and changed its name to Power Solutions Dtd.
- 2002 Released first software product 'PowerCost Manager', which won the Asia Pacific ICT Award for Health.[2]
- 2003 Expanded to New Zealand[3] and the United States.[4]
- 2006 Changed company name to 'PowerHealth Solutions' to affirm commitment to the health industry.[5]
- 2009 Expanded to the UK[6]. Acquired Web Alliance for its patient billing software.[7]
- 2011 Elected a Board of Directors.[8]
