Salafī

A salafī is someone who firmly believes in Allāh and his messenger and follows the Quran and Sunnah with the understanding of the salaf

"al-salaf al-ṣāliḥ"

(The Pious Predecessors)

The first: the prophet Muḥammad ﷺ and his companions (Ṣaḥābah)

The second: the Tābʿīn (the followers of the companions).

The third: the Tābiʿū al-Tābʿīn (the followers of the followers of the companions).

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The best people are those of my generation, then those who come after them, then those who come after them."

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "so fear Allah and be patient for indeed I am a blessed "salaf" for you"
