why can't the infobox at Draft:Air US show everything? Please help me with... Making the infobox show everything The garmine (talk) 14:16, 4 April 2017 (UTC)
- The parameters in an infobox are case-sensitive. For example, you're currently using
|Founded=
when {{infobox airline}} uses|founded=
. 99% of the time that's why info won't show up in an infobox. Primefac (talk) 14:37, 4 April 2017 (UTC)

same problem at Mandini ( Musico ). I need help fixing "unknown parameters" so I can use the info to hopefully help me improve the article. The garmine (talk) 22:16, 26 April 2017 (UTC)
- Looks like you need to compare {{Infobox musical artist}} to what's actually on the draft. Quick check looks like some of those params aren't even in the infobox code, and others are improperly capitalized. Primefac (talk) 22:28, 26 April 2017 (UTC)
- As a note, Huon has moved the page to Draft:Mandini (musician) to allow you to continue working on it. Primefac (talk) 22:29, 26 April 2017 (UTC)
- I have tidied up the template, removed those parameters it simply does not have, and fixed the others. The template pages such as Template:Infobox musical artist often come with an extensive documentation that explains which parameters are available, how they're to be used, and how exactly they must be spelled and caitalized. On an unrelated note, if you want to write a new article piecemeal, it may be a good idea to do so in your sandbox and to only move the page into mainspace when it's ready to go live. This one had already been tagged for speedy deletion when I turned it into a draft; deleting it would have been the alternative. Huon (talk) 22:49, 26 April 2017 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Caucasia, Antioquia, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Chilapa (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Speedy deletions
Hi The garmine. I noticed that you have started patrolling new pages and have recently tagged several pages for speedy deletion. New page patrolling is a very important part of the encyclopedia and your efforts are greatly appreciated. However, you have made a number of errors in applying the speedy deletion criteria, and I urge you to slow down for a moment. Here are a number of tips that may help:
- You don't need to tag articles for deletion immediately after they are created. Attack pages, pure vandalism, and copyright infringements should tagged for speedy deletion immediately. But if it's just a mundane, non-notable article, or even an empty page, give the page creator 15-20 minutes to finish writing the article before placing deletion tags or maintenance tags.
- WP:A7 applies to organizations but not any creative works they produce. For that reason, I declined your CSD on Tulsa Book Review.
- To qualify as WP:G1 patent nonsense, the page has to be literally impossible to understand. It has to be something like "asgklsdfguiawe;tjlsdfkbzxjka" or a string of words that have nothing do with each other. If you can parse any meaning whatsoever from the page, it's not G1. Broomstick Scientists was not G1, as another user has pointed out.
- If an article was clearly written to embarrass an individual, it should be tagged as WP:G10, an attack page, even if it qualifies for BLP PROD.
- Users are permitted to remove deletion notices from their user talk page once they have read them, so this was unnecessarily. The only thing that may not be removed from a user talk page is a declined unblock request.
My apologies if this feels like pouring a ton of bricks on your talk page. But you should slow down for a moment and familiarize yourself with the new page patrolling guidelines before continuing. Be sure to read Wikipedia:New pages patrol and this essay on why it's important to be careful with page deletions. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask on your talk page or leave a note on my talk page. Altamel (talk) 05:10, 25 April 2017 (UTC)

Inappropriate speedy deletion criterion
I have declined your speedy deletion nomination of অপ্সরী প্রজাপতি as nonsense, because the article is not nonsense at all. I suggest that you check articles not in English, perhaps by using Google translate, before nominating them under this criterion. There may be good reasons for deletion, but this is not one of them; alternatively, it may just need translation. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 13:57, 26 April 2017 (UTC) JamesBWatson: Okay, thank you for telling me. The garmine (talk) 13:58, 26 April 2017 (UTC)
- Yeryry has now nominated it for deletion as a duplicate of an existing article (Chliaria othona), and since that seems to be a valid reason, I have deleted it. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 14:07, 26 April 2017 (UTC)

April 2017
Hello The garmine. Thanks for patrolling new pages – it's a very important task! I'm just letting you know, however, that there is consensus that we shouldn't tag pages as lacking context (CSD A1) and/or content (CSD A3) moments after they are created. It's usually best to wait at least 10–15 minutes for more content to be added if the page is very short, and the articles should not be marked as patrolled. Tagging such pages in a very short space of time may drive away well-meaning contributors, which is not good for Wikipedia. Attack pages (G10), blatant nonsense (G1), copyright violations (G12) and pure vandalism/blatant hoaxes (G3) should of course still be tagged and deleted immediately. Thanks. KGirlTrucker81 huh? what I've been doing 15:52, 26 April 2017 (UTC)

in some instances it is best to blank content w/ edit summary "redacted" and notify WP:oversight. Such material as the age of the subject might be best left out of the edit summary.
