[1] Abdus sattar palwan is a lawyer of Bangladesh supreme Court and he is Defence Counsel of of International Crimes Tribunal, Bangladesh. The Tribunal also appointed him as state defence counsel. [2]

Abdus Sattar Palwan conducted cases on behalf of ex. Minister of Bangladesh government and several eminent Member of Parliament (MP) of Bangladesh National Parliament. He also filed and conducted some public interest litigation (writ petition) for the interest of mass people. Bangladeshi and international Media including associated press covered news about cases conducted by Advocate Abdul Sattar Palwan. [3]

Abdul Sattar palwan is also a social worker. Two Upazila (Police station) Kamalnagar ramgoti under lakhimpur district is continuously destroying by the meghna river erosion, 300 square kilometre were eroded by The River. Some brilliant and dynamic younger student of the Kamalnagar organised and created a social organisation namely Kamalnagar Ramgati Bachao Monch #কমলনগর_রামগতি_বাঁচাও_মঞ্চ.Abdus Sattar palwan was elected convenor of of the organisation. Kamalnagar ramgati Bachao Monch arranged several human chain, grievance Mirchil, prayer program demanding River dam to protect two police station and 7 lac peoples. After long time movement of the organisation the government of Bangladesh has fast a River dam project of of 310 Million taka ultimately the organisation purpose is successful.

️Abdus Sattar Palwan is also Convenor of 'Dhaka to Lakshmipur Launch Chai Parishad". "Dhaka to Lakshmipur Launch Chai Parishad" is a social organisation formed by some young of Lakshimpur District for demanding launch (passenger ship) service from capital Dhaka to district lakhimpur. The organisation arrange human chain and and several program including bike showdown and memo letter to the Honorable Prime Minister, social movement of this organisation is going on.
