Hi, This is The Great Badlands. My name is Damon. I live in Calgary, Alberta. I love to travel and take photographs of the badlands of Alberta. I have an account on youtube and panoramio. I put pictures on panoramio and Google Earth, please check these out if you would like. My family also owns some badlands near Hays, Alberta, a small hamlet with a very little amount of people. The badlands we own are located along the Bow River, down a hunting road that goes past a gravel pit. The badlands are about six kilometers down the road, and there is a few trails leading to different parts of them. The nice thing about these badlands is that not alot of people know about them because they are near grazing ground for cows, are hidden down a deserted hunting road, and there is not many people in Hays. Most of the people there dont even care about the badlands anyway. They just hunt. We hike alot, so i thought i might share in case you happened to be in the area and you wanted to stop and see some magnificent sights of badlands and hoodoos. Most of my panoramio photos and google earth photos are located in Hays. I also have alot of photos waiting, and these photos are from places like Writing-On-Stone Provincial Park, Drumheller(These i havent even uploaded yet), Medicine hat, different places along the Bow River, including the Hays Badlands, and Glacier National Park. I am making trips to Drumheller, Writing-On-Stone and The Grand Forks very soon to take some more shots of Alberta's stunning badlands and valleys.
