Test for the battlebots section in Razer

After Series 3 Razer was entered into the American robot combat programme Battlebots after the team won an international scholarship along with fellow British robots, Killerhurtz and Mortis.[1] Razer's first battle was against Voltarc who after thinking they had won by flipping Razer, Razer self-righted and Scott pierced Voltarc's armour with Razer's arm before the fight ended. Razer was given the victory on a crowd's vote. [2] The next fight was against Agrippa. Razer defeated it by crushing through it's electrical system. [3] Razer's next opponent was Tazbot. Razer was defeated after being flipped onto the arena saws which cut the self-righting arms cable leaving it unable to self-right. [4] Razer then dropped into the "best of the rest" competition where they faced Kill-O-Amp which they defeated by pulling a wheel off then crushing the battery.[2] They then faced Rhino in the next round. Razer lost after Rhino's spike pierced Razer's armour breaking the starter solenoid and knocking the radio switch into the off position which also sent Razer into an uncontrolled spin, requiring Lewis to get into the arena and switch Razer off. [2] Razer finally competed in the 13 robot Gigabot Rumble. After the time expired, 5 robots including Razer were still mobile and required an audience vote. Razer was given the decision after the crowd voted in their favour so Razer became the 1999 Gigabot Rumble Champion. [2]
