Ashens and the Quest for the GameChild is a 2013 British comedy-adventure film directed by Riyad Barmania and co-written by Youtube personality Stuart Ashen and Riyad Barmania. The film tells the story of Ashens (a neurotic version of Ashen) and his quest to find the titular Game Child, a ripoff of the Nintendo Game Boy. He is accompanied by Chef Geoffrey Excellence (played by Dan Tomlinson) and eventually meets Nemesis (played by Chris Kendall). Approximately 40% of the film's budget was crowdfunded through Indiegogo[1], with the rest provided by Ashen's YouTube network, ChannelFlip. The film was released on DVD and Blu-ray by Anchor Bay Entertainment on 14 July 2014.
