There are many who are literate enough to write a decent essay or even a shorty story, however there is a very small percentage that can write with the clarity and tenacity to influence others on a wide scale. Among the elite group of prevalent non-fiction authors is Marques Cunningham, simply known to the writing world as, Marques The Writer.
Marques The Writer is originally from Florida and was influenced heavily by his mom and grandmother to become a writer. At a very early age his grandmother was very strict on him when it came to reading and writing, unbeknownst to him at the time that he would use those very skills for his future career. His mom was and still is a key source of encouragement and always ensure that he remains relentless to his craft.
“I am a very in-depth author and chose to write non-fiction so that I can spark the mind instead of the emotions. I’m not saying that there is anything wrong with fiction but in reading my work, I will ignite your mind and instill knowledge within,” he said.
In 2001, Marques The Writer decided to embark upon a professional career in writing even before completing college. The savvy young writer have over 200 publishing credits for articles appearing in nearly every national and regional magazine. He also was a contributing writer for Yahoo! Where he interviewed prominent authors such as: Omar Tyree, Zane, Eric Jerome Dickey, and Michael Eric Dyson.
He also interviewed celebrities such as: Rick Ross, T-Pain, Mr. Collipark, DJ Smallz, DJ Drama, 3-6 Mafia, and the list goes on.
Marques The Writer first started to build a name for himself as an author in 2002 with his debut release entitled, The Man Who Dared to Dream. This book urged teenagers to never give up even when life seemed inevitable. This book was sold in his local community of Phoenix, AZ and sold over 1,000 copies in a very short period of time.
In 2013, he came back with a new book released aimed towards the independent music industry, The Indie Guide: 2013 Edition. This self-help/business book landed him a slot on the Amazon.com bestsellers list for four consecutive weeks. The following year he released, The Musicians Manual to Effective Media Coverage that also topped the charts.
The avid writer partnered with the family of the deceased Hip-Hop icon, Pimp C in 2015 to present his official biography entitled, Pimp C: The Untold Story of Chad Butler which have sold over 5,000 copies in less than a year.
Marques The Writer is in a league of his own due to his superb mine and outstanding intelligence. He recently released, The Spiritual World and How It Influences Your Everyday Life. He is now conducting seminars and instructing online courses on book publishing and is relentlessly pressing towards his dream of becoming the most relentless and influential author to ever put pen to paper.
