Hello! My name is Avi (they/them) and I'm a librarian in New Mexico. I have participated in a couple wiki edit-a-thons in the past, on accounts that I made with institutional emails I don't have access to anymore. I created this account to see if an article can be made for the Queer Liberation Library, which I have been volunteering for since October 2023. The other aspect of my COI disclosure is that I am friends with the founder of the library. I met them in grad school and have worked with them professionally since. I am not being paid in any way, I am only using publicly available information from reliable sources, and the organization is not involved in the article in any way.

I have done my best to create a draft article that is informational and impartial. Partially I wrote the draft because I didn't want to make someone else do the heavy lifting, and partially because I have had a lot of fun learning things and didn't want to stop. I'm hoping more experienced users will be able to review the draft and help determine what needs to happen next. I'm happy to make edits and fix any mistakes I may have made. I can also discuss in more detail why I view QLL as notable for the field and the public, if it isn't evident in the article. Of course, I will understand if I'm not the right person to work on or make the article, or if it's deemed that an article shouldn't be made at this point. Thank you in advance for your help!
