MONEY FM 89.3 is a radio station operated by SPH Radio Pte Ltd in Singapore. The station has a talk-show format and is targeted at English-speaking middle age professionals. It is primarily focused on business news and personal finance matters, but also covers general news as well as information about health, education, and culture. It is Singapore’s first radio station focusing on business news and topics related to personal finance. The station carries SPH's business news and information from The Straits Times and The Business Times. It also works with SPH's subsidiary ShareInvestor, which is one of the largest investor relations networks in Asia.[1]
In November 2017, SPH Radio announced 96.3 好 FM and Money FM 89.3, after being awarded the tender to operate two new radio stations by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) in March 2017.[2] The station launched on 29 January 2018 at 08:00 hrs. The 89.3 MHz FM frequency was used to carry an audio simulcast of MediaCorp TVMobile until it ceased operations on 1 January 2010.
