Parliamentary Republic of Egypt, (In Arabic: جمهورية مصر البرلمانية) was the official name of Egypt after the order of the Revolutionary Command Council issued on February 27, 1954 which appointed Major General Mohamed Naguib as the President of the Republic. The Name stayed as the official name of Egypt until the issuance of the Constitution of the Egyptian Republic on June 25, 1956.
