The Andy Body Company (ABCO) is a United States multinational provider of products and services to offshore deep sea drilling operators in the oil and gas industry. The company focuses on the manufacturing of clamps, bend restrictors and other related subsea umbilical management systems, and currently controls 50% of the market. The company, which was first founded in 1981, has their headquarters in Houston, TX and is privately held.

The company controls 50% of the subsea engineered market in the world, and has 44 employees. ABCO currently operates three subsidiaries to service the offshore energy market, each serving a specific purpose in the industry.

ABCO Products

ABCO Products (API) designs and manufactures a variety of umbilical management systems for offshore applications. These systems include clamps, bend restrictors, support arches, roller sheaves, armor pots, reels, etc.

ABCO Subsea Associates

ABCO Subsea Associates (ASA) provides engineering consulting expertise to the offshore energy market. ASA offers customized solutions to their customers, and can serve as the offshore operator, service contractor and/or original equipment manufacturers in the definition, procurement, installation and commissioning of underwater exploration and production systems.

ABCO Engineering

ABCO Engineering custom manufactures multi-input shuttle valves using licensed MPV technology designed for working with subsea Blowout Preventers. They also produce valve and knob conrol systems that can interface with Remotely Operated Underwater Vehicles.
