Lilgrouch or Malcolm Owens is a 22 year old underground rapper part of the independent collective group Complex Bastards. Born in raised in riverside California, eventually traveling through Palmdale and ridgecrest to Columbus Ohio. At a young age Malcolm was very interested in music of all genres but always wanted to create as well. At the young age of 8 he used to record himself making goofy rap songs on a flip phone inspired by Weird Al Yankovic, but never gave up the passion. Soon discovering odd future, and wutang he could never listen to music the same and eventually studied it very carefully and desperately worked through the years learning how to tell a story, while creating metaphors to keep it interesting. He has also learned to fully produce his own beats, mix his own vocals, master his own tracks, edit his own music videos, and create his own artwork at a very young age.
