The Knowles Science Teaching Foundation (KSTF) was established in 1999 with the intent of bettering math and science education in the United States by supporting high-quality high school math and science teachers.[1] It currently works towards this goal by awarding five-year fellowships to novice math, physical science, earth science, and biology teachers. Approximately 35 fellowships are awarded annually.
Previously, KSTF funded math and science education researchers; however, this research is now limited to KSTF research staff members.
