The William Shakespare Theoretical High School in Timișoara is a high school with intensive teaching of the English language in middle and high school. It has 3 buildings, building A, where the high school operates, building B, where the middle school operates, and building C, where the primary classes operate. Each building has its own courtyard, building A has laboratories for the school subject called ICT, the initials of Informatics and ICT, and also a gym. Building B has two English classrooms, a biology lab and a doctor's office. In addition, it also has a library. Both buildings have classrooms for all students, bathrooms and an office. In building C, in addition to classrooms and bathrooms, there is also a library and an office . In building B, a home for Roman Catholic nuns functioned between 1904 and 1920. Then, around 1920, the Roman-Catholic Parochial House began to operate here, where the priests who served at the Millennium Roman-Catholic Church lived. In 1930, the German section of General School 3 in Timișoara began to operate here. In building C, since 1930, the Romanian section of General School 3 has been operating. In 1996, General School 3 became William Shakespeare Theoretical High School. The aim of this high school is to give its students more English classes. At secondary school, four hours of English are taught per week. At high school level , in addition to the English classes , students can choose between several optionals which are also taught in English . These optionals are meant to introduce knowledge of English and American culture . The Shakespare School organizes Cambridge Exams at all Levels every year . In the basement of building B there is a beautiful wooden panel on which are written quotations from the words spoken by William Shakespare.
