User:Teles
I started editing in April 2007 when Portuguese Wikipedia was introduced to me by my mother and a friend. Firstly, I was interested in Natural Sciences and Medicine. Today, I mainly work on dealing with vandalism. I am a physician IRL and that is why I may need small breaks from Wikimedia sometimes.
My homewiki is the Wikipedia in Portuguese (see Teles), where I am sysop since 2009. I am Brazilian and we don't speak Spanish in Brazil. I am also a Steward since 2012, which gives me a few useful tools, but changes almost nothing on my edit here.
I'm here to help with translating health-related content to Portuguese Wikipedia.

[edit]- ... will be more seen here at the weekends. (or not...)
- ... learns when hears criticisms.
- ... knows that sources are not just recommendations; are requirements.
- ... has no patience to organize his own page, but recognizes that it is messy.
- ... has more quotes on Google than a few articles on Wikipedia.
- Be careful, vandals! This user is a "tracker" user; revert the vandalism and look at the user "contributions" for others misapplications of rules.
- ... uses to answer everyone calmly, even when 'some everyone' extrapolate.
- ... is not a sock puppet.
- ... could be killing people, stealing old-indefensive ladies, smoking some prohibited material, but, you know, he is just editing here on Wikipedia, which is not yet a crime.
- ... is asking to don't take his page this serious...
- ... is famous and has a lot of fans. Hey! Don't you know that? What kind of person are you?
- ... defends the other no matter who is the 'other' (sometimes he is the 'other' to be defended).
- ... says "yes" to IP, because he saw somewhere that everyone has the same privilege of editing even without registration.
- ... has his own page vandalized sometimes for some of his fans. If you find something weird here, it was not his fault (probably).
- ... tries to guide his actions according the five pillars.
- ... doesn't know who started this weird thing of talking about himself as if "himself" was some other person and he doesn't use to do it.
- ... created the Portuguese Wikipedia Facebook page.

I love vandalism
[edit]Join the anti-vandalism crew and you will have some fun (for real):
- diff As you can see, when you carefully explain to new users what they're doing wrong, they will be sorry for their mistakes and avoid it in the future.
- diff ClueBot is such a smart bot that some might think that
heit is a real person and do humans things. I mean... it's a bot isn't it? - diff Could somebody help him/her? Please, hurry... it's is getting worse.
- diff The new users are full of doubts. Help them is a task of the more experienced users.
- diff Poor Kristina... she will never have a birthday.
- diff Now I understand why they created this page.
- diff Face it. You will never be as loved as Jimmy Wales.
- diff Wikipedia. Predicting the future since january 2001. Donate now.
- diff I'm not sure about his immortality... next year he will complete 350 years. Let's wait for that and not take any imprudent conclusion.
- diff Thanks for sharing the events of your life, but in the next time, just don't give me details, ok?
- diff Not a reliable source in my opinion.
- diff A good-faith user, but not verifiable.
- diff One of the most important virtues of the human being is the sincerity and I respect that.
Notes:
In fact, some of the edits are not exactly 'vandalism'.
Of course I don't love vandalism, but some of them are just funny.
