Hi! Welcome to my userpage! As you already know, I'm Telemachus Claudius Rhade (born September 10, 1989) I'm a die-hard technology user from Québec, Canada, and I often shorten my username to "Rhade" for my online friends. My 100% full and complete Internet username is Dark Deity Telemachus Claudius Rhade.

Said username is based on Telemachus Rhade of Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda, and the middle name is taken from Hamlet's King Claudius. I'll explain its "creation" in more detail. I was formerly known as "Telemachus Rhade", and I had a profile named "Claudius" in Star Wars Battlefront II. I switched to "Rhade" soon after. I knew I liked the name "Telemachus Rhade", but I wanted to customize it. So, I stuck the "Claudius" right in between the two words, and made it my middle name. TCR has been my handle since. The "Dark Deity" part came later. I once settled for "Dark Lord", but that was a Voldemort rip-off, and since a deity is much closer to a god than Voldemort will ever be, I made the change.

Personal life

[edit]

Rhade's life

[edit]

I'm a very private individual, tending to avoid all contact with my peers and will only speak when spoken to, having difficulty starting conversations. I've got Asperger's Syndrome, which I find pretty bothersome considering it contributes to my shyness.

I'm a single male, actively searching, but without much luck. Sometimes I complain about the inability to find myself a date, and simply seeing couples kiss or hug even in the slightest makes me want to cry. I personally believe that every girl I meet and/or like either already has a boyfriend or does not want one, and that makes me feel discouraged and... somewhat unwanted. You know, that feeling of not being good enough for the girls. =(

There's one thing I'm proud of about myself, though: my beard, which I wanted since I was three years old (well, maybe not three, but I was very little). Many men with whom I grew up (namely my dad, uncle, doctor and backyard neighbor) had beards, so I guess it kinda stuck to me. I also wear shades pretty often, and I'm opting for long hair as well. I keep this look to obscure my face because of shyness, and only the girl I will love can make me change it.

Views

[edit]

Oh, boy... I really hate politics. I feel that the system sucks because it makes just about every politician corrupt. The morons are paid overabundant salaries to do nothing, and they can "get away with" too much. Nothing controls the bastards! :(

However, it doesn't stop there. My biggest issue with the world is the constitutional rights of criminals in the justice system. I think they only promote crimes rather than reduce them, and that the world will end up in chaos because of it. I think it's so CHEAP (view my LiveJournal for this gag) when a dangerous crook is punished with a light sentence or plain released (escapes justice). As such, I'm a strong supporter of (but do not practice) vigilante justice.

I'll put more views here when they come to me.

Nature

[edit]

Animals

[edit]

I kinda love wild animals, the lion and the tiger being my two absolute favorites. When I visit any zoo, I like to take pictures of them. Perhaps, someday, I'd like to join programs to save them from the evil clutches of extinction.

Well, I'll confess that I once wanted to adopt a male tiger, but was disappointed to find out that wild animals are very difficult (if even possible) to domesticate.

I LOVE cats!

The environment

[edit]

Pollution (mainly water pollution) is one of the worst pieces of crap in existence, as well as is deforestation. I really hate waste and will only litter if the trash in question is biodegradable.

Vehicles are perhaps one of man's worst inventions. Those rust buckets are only good for two things: taking up space on the road needlessly, and polluting the air. As such, I refuse to get a driver's licence and I either carpool or use public transportation.

Myths and the supernatural

[edit]

I'm very much interested in any creature that is hinted to exist, but we lack proof of said existence. Such beings include, but are not limited to, fairies, spirits, mermaids and angels. Faires are the main, though. They (through the reading of books) are the main reason I want to protect nature so much. I also love reading about mythological beasts such as the kraken, the behemoth and the dragon.

This is my second main interest. Disney Fairies rules, and that's that. It's my guilty pleasure, 'k?

My love for this awesome Disney franchise stems from my love for fairies in general. I'll admit, when I first saw Tink, I never thought she'd get friends this awesome! Because of this, I'm really drawn into the Disney Fairies franchise. I didn't think much of it before.

I've got four words I want you to memorize: Qana. The. Snowflake. Fairy. Unfortunately, she's just a bystander in the Tinker Bell movie, but gains an actual role in he game Disney Fairies: Tinker Bell, which is awesome. I'm expecting her to make an appearance in the winter-themed Tinker Bell film, now confirmed to be titled Tinker Bell and the Mysterious Winter Woods.

My love for Disney Fairies has prompted me to start collecting merchandise. I have this awesome (although *somewhat* small) Disney Fairies collection, which I refer to as my "Fairies hoard". It's so small because I started collecting a tad too late. That means I'm missing some stuff you might think I should have. I have stuff ranging from dolls, books, art supplies, play clothing, etc. This collection started out with four dolls. It now clutters up two large desks.

My Disney Fairies collection was once part of a larger general collection of anything "fairy". It recently branched out of it and became a collection on its own, overshadowing the original.

Movies and theatre

[edit]

I enjoy watching movies, and I am still, up to this day, a VHS enthusiast. My current favorite movie of all time is Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest.

My current favorite actor is Jeremy Irons, who played Scar, one of my favorite fictional characters. My love for Scar has pushed me to make Irons my new favorite actor (formerly Robin Williams and Arnold Schwarzenegger) and in turn his other film roles. So far, I've seen the roles of Tiberias in Kingdom of Heaven, Brom in Eragon, Profion in Dungeons & Dragons and Antonio in Merchant of Venice. I plan to check them all out.

I LOVE Shakespeare. I read his plays and watch movies based on said plays. My very fave Shakespearean play is Hamlet. I previously studied Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth in high school, but Hamlet was the only one I truly liked. Since other classes were doing Othello, I'm happy I did Hamlet, because I honestly don't think I'd have liked Othello as much.

Computers and computing

[edit]

I like computer programming. I'm currently studying computer science in college, and my programming classes are my favorites. The main reason I'm studying programming is to create video games. My big dream is to work at Nintendo as a video game designer and programmer.

I'm learning many programming languages, and they include C++, Java, Ruby and assembly language. I'll also study VisualBasic, JavaScript and PHP eventually.

Video games

[edit]

Console video games. They're my thing.

Games in general

[edit]

I worship anything made by Nintendo, be it its consoles or its games. I own the following consoles: a SNES, a Nintendo 64, a Nintendo GameCube, a Game Boy Advance, a Nintendo DS and the latest Wii. Although I usually tend to avoid products from other companies, I own a Sega Saturn and enjoy the Star Wars Battlefront series, whose games are not available on Nintendo platforms.

I'm quite a big fan of the Super Mario series. My favourite Mario character used to be Bowser, until I've played Super Paper Mario (below). New Super Mario Bros. is the game that prompted me to buy a Nintendo DS.

My all time favorite video game is Panel De Pon and its main hero, Lip, is my favorite Nintendo character. My admiration for the flower-bearing fairy led to a murderous hatred of Yoshi, which lasted almost two years, for replacing Lip in Tetris Attack. However, Sonic the Hedgehog's inclusion in Super Smash Bros. Brawl was unforgivable, making me "reconcile" with Yoshi and start liking him again. And I'll admit that I must thank Sonic for that, as I had forgotten how big a fan of Yoshi I was. However, I still hate Tetris Attack, and that'll never change.

I also *kinda* like Puyo Puyo. The characters are real funny, but the game is damned hard. My favorite character from this series is the maid Kikimora, making her just about the only reason I play the blob-popping puzzle game. I love that girl to death.

I really like Midna from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I was interested in discovering her character, and that's why I bought the game. Midna is the only Zelda character I like more than Saria from Ocarina of Time. Zelda-wise, I've also recently taken a liking to Tetra.

So far, Super Paper Mario is the best Wii game I've ever played, in my opinion, even moreso than Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Not to mention the only one I've ever cleared on my own without the help of a friend or cheat codes. I was addicted to it while I was clearing it for the first time. My favorite music from the game is the background music of Castle Bleck. I've also taken a liking to Mimi, one of Count Bleck's minions, and she quickly became my new fave Mario character, usurping Bowser. I also became a fan of Bleck himself recently. I used to think I hated Mimi because of what she put me through in the game *points to Chapter 2-3*, but I was soon convinced that I was wrong. I would've liked her to appear as a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, but I also knew there was virtually no chance of that happening.

Another favorite of mine is Wario Land: Shake It!. I was instantly taken by its main antagonist, the Shake King. He's a stereotypical baddie, but he's AWESOME at the same time! The final battle of Wario Land: Shake It! is one of my favorite boss battles of all time, and that was short-lived. My current favorite boss battle is that which is found in New Super Mario Bros. Wii

North-American Localization

[edit]

I hate Nintendo of America's method of localization, which usually involves character replacement. Such games include Tetris Attack and Kirby's Avalanche/Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine. Pokémon Puzzle League doesn't piss me off as much, but I still feel slightly bitter about it when I play it. I boycott any incarnation of Panel De Pon and Puyo Puyo which does not feature its respective original cast of characters, unless said clones are open-source, so that I may add these characters when I become comfortable with video game programming. This form of localization is garbage because it's a disgrace to the original cast of the game, who is then left out of its own game and later labeled as obscure.

Super Smash Bros. Series

[edit]

Smash Bros. is my second favorite game series. These are my stats:

Legend: Main: Character(s) I use most often in game
Secondary main: Fighter(s) I use only slightly less often than my main(s)
"Fun": Fighters I don't main but like to control for fun.
"Punching bag": Fighters I hate and/or beat up on most often.
If a fighter has (hacks) typed after his or her name, it means it is a controllable NPC.

Super Smash Bros. 64 main: Metal Mario (hacks).
Super Smash Bros. 64 secondary mains: Captain Falcon/Mario.
Super Smash Bros. 64 "fun" characters: None
Super Smash Bros. 64 primary "punching bag": None.

Super Smash Bros. Melee main: Ganondorf
Super Smash Bros. Melee secondary main: Dr. Mario
Super Smash Bros. Melee "fun" character: Giga Bowser (hacks).
Super Smash Bros. Melee primary "punching bag": Peach.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl main: Wario.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl secondary mains: Luigi/R.O.B.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl "fun" characters: Wolf/Bowser/Ganondorf/Blue Alloy/Yellow Alloy/"Killable Giga Bowser" (hacks)
Super Smash Bros. Brawl primary "punching bag": Peach.

I enjoyed this awesome series since the first game, Super Smash Bros. on the Nintendo 64. The thing that disappointed me, however, was the lack of Bowser in the playable roster. I originally wanted to unlock Metal Mario real badly, which couldn't be done by normal means (cheap developers!). GameShark Pro had to be used, but it proved to be the biggest piece of junk ever made for that system. Don't worry, though, I finally got to play as Metal Mario, via a Project64 cheat code, and Metal Mario has since then become my main, overthrowing Luigi. I use Captain Falcon where I can't use Metal.

Super Smash Bros. Melee proved to be a turning point for me. Bowser was FINALLY playable (that made me want the game in the first place), so I got into it more than the Nintendo 64 incarnation. However, Dr. Mario is my current main. My first true "main" was Luigi. I once organized a SSBM club in high school. Said club had a tournament, and I'd defeated my own tournament's champion as Luigi. This lasted until Giga Bowser was encountered and was the prime reason for my buying Datel's Action Replay, which I now use less often as usual to gain the power to battle as Giga Bowser because of my new main. Also, what sucks is that some fun characters who add replay value, such as Giga Bowser, remain non-playable to humans except through the use of expensive and hard-to-find cheating devices (again, cheap developers!). I used to play only when a Giga Bowser hack was enabled, but now with my transition to Doc, that isn't necessary anymore. Besides, I've decided I was slowly going to start abandoning my hacked mains to play the games like a man.

I'm quite neutral concerning Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I like it, but I kinda hate it too. At first, I hated to see third-party characters, which ruined the whole purpose of Smash Bros. since it's a fight between Nintendo's first and second-party characters. However, seeing Solid Snake's moves in the Nintendo World 2006 trailer changed my opinion on the character. When I saw Brawl's leaked roster, I must say, I was a bit disappointed by it. Not only because Lip, a character I was going all out to support, didn't make the cut, but there are very few characters more than Melee. I was shocked, as well as appalled. The rest of the game slightly made up for it! Tabuu is awesome, the music is epic and I find the Stage Builder amazing, no matter how limited I find it. Now, I guess you could say it *kinda* grew on me. Oh, and I forgot... FRACKTAIL TROPHY AND COUNT BLECK STICKER!!! <3

Oh, well. Apart from Giga Bowser, Ike and King Dedede, NO ONE I WANTED IS IN BRAWL!!! This is going to make it slightly boring, but there are good things about the roster, such as Wolf, R.O.B. (whom I rejected at first but warmed up to), Wario, and my main, the awesome Luigi.

In Smash, when I don't main bosses, I usually tend to main middle tier characters. (with the exception of Falcon in 64 and R.O.B. in Brawl, who are high or top) In my personal opinion, they are the easiest of all to control and develop strategies with.

Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi series

[edit]

This series is comprised of the best Dragon Ball Z fighting games of all time. I love the last two.

Tenkaichi main: None, never played the game.
Tenkaichi punching bag: None, never played the game.

Tenkaichi 2 main: Cooler (base form).
Tenkaichi 2 punching bag: Zangya.

Tenkaichi 3 main: King Cold.
Tenkaichi 3 punching bag: Zangya, Kid Chi Chi, Arale Norimaki.

Since I only buy Nintendo consoles, I've never played the first Budokai Tenkaichi. I picked it up with Tenkaichi 2, because Cooler, my current fave DBZ character, was playable in his base form. I'm currently maining him against the Strong CPU level and trying to master Vanishing. It's *really* tough.

As you know, I'm a huge fan of Dragon Ball Z. Frieza (or "Freeza" for those of you who know him by that spelling) got me into it. I also love the old man, King Cold. I've always wanted a video game with him playable. I got my wish with Tenkaichi 3 (Wii version, naturally), and he's the reason I wanted it. I'm currently training with him against higher CPU levels (ONLY Weak... MAN those CPUs are tough... =P). And no, my King Cold is not Wi-Fi material yet, although you can see me playing him in one of my YouTube videos. Recently I sold Tenkaichi 2 to a friend so I could have more money for my Fairies hoard and to concentrate on my King Cold in BT3.

Online

[edit]

As you can gather from reading this, I'm much more open online than in direct contact with people. When online, when I feel something or want to say something, I just say it and the hell with public opinion, unless I don't want to hurt the person I say it to.

I used to be an active member of the Toolkitzone.com forums, but left them, because most of the members there acted like spoiled brats with little to no brains.

I also have a fairly active LiveJournal account. I'm most active there, although my activity has decreased somewhat ofer the past few months. I just have nothing to say. =P You now must be a registered user to post in my LJ. I've dealt with too much abuse recently from anonymous commenters. Note: that does not mean that it's friends only. It's not, believe me.

Activity of my LJ has gone down because of FanFiction.Net, which I now use over my LJ. Recently, I posted my first story there(not complete).

I have yet another account, on YouTube, dubbed "Una furtiva lagrima". So far, I only have three that I made myself. I have many more favorites than videos, since I mostly made my account to fave videos. My username there is "tcrhade".

I also have a *not very active* deviantART account, TelemachusCRhade. So far, it's much like my YouTube account. Although, I've taken steps to revive its activity. I'm posting more deviations these days! ;)

A Wikipedian by the name of MedianWarlord once tried to invade my privacy by creating a Wikipedia article about me, titled "Telemachus Rhade (Toolkitzone.com member)", which is now in Wikipedia's deletion log. I thanked the one who placed the speedy deletion tag on it and the one who deleted said article from Wikipedia. I once had to remove vandalism from this very userpage, again inflicted by MedianWarlord.

I plan to replace my computer in the near future, complete with my own e-mail. I will be posting it when I recieve it.

Recently, I've begun using Gmail and Windows Live to chat with two new friends of mine. It's. AWESOME! Only my most trusted friends (online or otherwise) will get my Gmail address.

On Wikipedia

[edit]

Don't expect too much from me, as I'm not a very active Wikipedian. I mostly edit pages that relate to my interests, and add info to this userpage from time to time. I also look at some others and remove vandalism. The pages I has contributed to so far are:

Edits

[edit]

-Super Smash Bros. (series) <-- I used to spend lots of time editing the Non-Playable Fighters section here, but it kept getting removed. This place really has a tough time accepting that the NPCs' Action Replay data is both true and verifiable.
-Panel de Pon <-- Of course, my favorite video game. I lost all my contributions except for my PDP character bios to a merger with the article about my least favorite game, Tetris Attack.
-Disney Fairies: Tinker Bell <-- One of my favorite Nintendo DS games. The page was underdeveloped, and I took it upon myself to do something about it. I'm awaiting the reaction of the Project Video Game people before I make more changes.

Vandalism removal

[edit]

-Indochinese Tiger <-- I cleaned this up because of my interests in tigers. I found some really weird stuff here.

This page used to be written in third-person, but I decided to change it to first-person, as it's easier to believe that I'm the one who actually wrote this.
