Constance Crowder was an American actress on old-time radio.
Early years
[edit]Crowder's initial involvement with acting occurred while she was a scholarship student at the University of Chicago. She developed her skills further at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.[1]
Career
[edit]Crowder performed in vaudeville and on stage with stock theater companies and at the Pasadena Community Playhouse. In 1935, she began acting in leading roles on radio.[1]
Crowder's roles on radio included Mother Moynihan on Painted Dreams.[1]
