World Famous Twilight Dreamz Tattoo Studio The World Famous Twilight Dreamz Tattoo Studio is owned by James Redden. James Redden is a Master Tattoo Artist and Master Body Piercer who got his start in Tattooing in Chicago. James started taking his first clients in 1994 after completing his apprenticeship training. James has become a big advocate of stricter regulations governing the tattoo industry. James has wrote many articles regarding the safety,do's and dont's of the industry as well as work with State and Local Officials on education regarding the tattoo industry.

In 2010 after working his whole career in Chicago at various shops and conventions, James decided it was time to move out west to Rockton Illinois. In November of that year James started up what is now known as the World Famous Twilight Dreamz Tattoo Studio in South Beloit Illinois. James Redden focused most of his attention not only in serving the community with great artwork. He also focused on properly training of Tattoo Artist and Body Piercers. Currently to date James has trained dozen of artist who went on in their careers in major cities around the world.

World Famous Twilight Dreamz Tattoo Studio in changing the Tattoo Industry" In 2006 popular reality series such as Miami Ink and LA Ink brought tattooing into the main stream. Before 2006 tattooing was still associated with Bikers,Convicts and overall a society taboo. Many in the industry before the release of these reality shows followed a strict tradition of the Apprentice and Master relationship in which the craft of tattooing was passed from generation to generation. As the internet become more popular and sites such as EBAY and Craigslist became a haven for the untrained to buy the equipment needed to tattoo.

It was these events that dramatically changed the tattoo industry forever. Incidences of individuals tattooing out of a house in unsanitory conditons became rampant. The tattoo industry started seeing a rise of the House Scratcher and Chinese Supply companies selling direct to this segment of the tattoo industry. It was a very uncommon practice for USA Tattoo Suppliers to sell any equipment to anyone not working in a reputable tattoo studio. Now in 2014 the main business model of most tattoo suppliers is to market to the untrained and inexperienced. This has led to a number of dangerous infections as well as some very bad art.

As the effects of infections and bad art become more evident more and more in the industry took notice. Master Artist James Redden started working through the Representatives in Illinois to get regulations passed in order to protect the Industries long proud history. Currently Twilight Dreamz Tattoo runs a 1 year Apprenticeship Program and Body Piercing workshops to train individuals the right way. James is also working with legislatures in making it mandatory that individuals who want to tattoo complete a 2500 hour program and become licensed through the State of Illinois. He is also an advocate for tougher penalties for those who would try to tattoo out of the house.
