Season 4 was split into various segments so that FOX would not waste new episodes when television audiences were low. FOX showed an initial run of ten episodes starting in May, then after a brief hiatus episodes restarted on September 11, 2005.

FOX celebrated the 100th episode as "Stewie Kills Lois". The differing episode for the 100th show can be explained by their not including the three episodes making up the DVD movie in their count, and by counting the hour-long season premiere Blue Harvest as two episodes.

  • Brian starts to show his age and the Griffins get a new dog in ("The Man With Two Brians").
  • Peter believes he's a pirate; this episode will include a five-minute scene involving Peter trying to pick something up("Long John Peter").
  • Mort Goldman travels to Nazi Germany and needs to be rescued by Stewie and Brian ("Road to Germany").
  • Bonnie Swanson finally gives birth;James Woods returns("The Juice Is Loose").
  • An episode will be broken into three segments, each based on a Stephen King novel; one segment will be based on Misery and will star Stewie and Brian ("Three Kings").[1]
  • A sequel to the episode Blue Harvest is in production, which is expected to retell Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. It is very likely that the show's characters will reprise their roles from the previous episode Blue Harvest.("Something,Something,Something Dark Side").[2]
  • Stewie will kidnap the cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation, who will guest star as themselves. It is currently unknown if it will be similar to the episode of Futurama that featured the cast of the original series: "Where No Fan Has Gone Before"in("Not All Dogs Go To Heaven").[3]
  • In("Ancorwoman:The Legand OfLois Griffin"),Lois will get a news job on Channel 5 Fox.

Stewie decides to end his plans for world domination after a near-death experience prompts him to act nicer to his family. Later, Stewie sees a man who bears a striking resemblance to him and is convinced that this man is his real father. He then sets out with Brian on a cross-country adventure to find the man who, once he is found, reveals to Stewie a startling secret.

The film was split in three parts and altered for television forming the episodes Stewie B. Goode, Bango Was His Name Oh!, and Stu & Stewie's Excellent Adventure.
