I am, I admit, a geek. First and foremost, I enjoy living. Next is computers. After that, it's a multi-way tie between Biking, Anime (アニメ), Music, and after that, all other living (I am, however, partial to good cooking.)

I absolutely love Japan, and the Japanese language. If I could live anywhere, it would definitely be Tokyo, followed by New York/San Francisco/Montréal, and any other major metropolitan area.

My Anime favorites:

Fullmetal Alchemist!!! It's a great anime, and the manga's good too.
Naruto! I've only read the manga so far, but I can't wait to watch the anime.
Anything Miyazaki --He's simply brilliant.

In computers, I am a Linux user, and I run Ubuntu, in its KDE incarnation, Kubuntu. I find the open philosophy to be very welcoming, and the software available to be excellent. I would definitely recommend Linux to anyone with only basic computing needs, or with an older system daunted by the prospect of upgrading to Vista.

In fact, my interests run as deep as Ancient Earth and Mythology, where I derived my username from. "T3thys" is a take on "Tethys," one of the ancient seas, and also a Titaness of the water. She also makes a cameo in Greenwitch, one of the books in The Dark is Rising Sequence.
