Please ignore my username – my main areas of focus are historical linguistics, phonetics, and phonology; the only reason my name mentions syntax is because I made this account for a project in a syntax class originally and did not have the foresight to realize I would be editing on this same account going forward (I did not realize at the time that Wikipedia is fairly strict about having multiple accounts, and have accordingly retired the account that I had used while I was a child).
