Welcome to Sweetkoalaotter's page! Some fun and non-boring things about me that involve daily living is crocheting , painting, and playing instrument like a Ukulele, or a Cello. Though the most important thing I think to be in my life is self-care. Listening and taking care of my body is such an important thing for my life. Things such like skin care routines , and basic showering and eating. The benefits of engaging to self-care have clinically proven to reduce health risks. My favorite food is soup (any kind :D)! I also play video games but on console... not on PC.

My Wikipedia Interest

I think my interest of using wikipedia is to reduce the amount of mistakes other wikipedia users make among many articles. Though I'd only use the use that seem to have my own interest such as plants and animals of all types and instrumental items . Oh and also now and days artist and singers such as SZA .

Article Evaluation

When I was younger my aunt would  take culinary classes. Whenever she would study it would be decorating a cake. This is where my interest would come to mind because as of now I try to attempt decorating, though I'm not skilled but my family doesn’t mind because we're all eating it anyway… just as long as the frosting tastes good. I then visited a Cake decorating article on Wikipedia, and found three aspects worth commenting on: some sources that were not cited at all, citations that were not up to date, and a section that is under-represented.

When viewing this article it seems to see that there are two citations that are needed in the heading "Techniques." The paragraph about "Naked cakes" in 2020, has no citation provided stating that the "naked cakes" were a trend that occurred. Another is the last paragraph that implies about the types of baking pans that are used in the process of creating the shape of the cake.

In addition to citation, in the reference there are multiple citations that are really not up to date. Reference one dated back to 2015. When pressing on the citation it takes you to the "Way back machine" when it was archived. This also happened to citation five, it dates back to 2007 which is many years ago. Citation six and seven links do not work over all. They are dead links that no one can use.

Structure wise, the heading "As an art" is very un-represented . There is only one sentence within that paragraph. More information on cake decorating should be provided and how it did become art. When readers look at this part of the article they are going to question the history of cake decorating as art.

Overall, these were the top three article issues when reading. Current links with updated related articles about cake decorating can bring forth new information. Along with giving more relative information about how it is art.
