Dr Darshan Pal

Dr Darshan Pal is state president of Krantikari Kisan Union, a farm union of Punjab, India. He was one of the main leader of recent farmer protest in India.

Darshan Pal retired from Punjab Civil Medical Services in 2004 and started working for farmers and working class in Punjab. Pal became de facto convener of Sanyukta Kisan Morcha which led the Farmers Protest from farmers side.

Dr Darshan Pal also raised the voice of farmers protest in United Nation Assembly. He was among nine member coordination committee of Sanyukta Kisan Morcha, along with Yogendra Yadav, Gurnam Singh Chaduni, Balbir Singh Rajewal and others.
