$<\Psi (t)|$ is found by solving the time dependent Schroedinger equation using NDSolve as the tilt between the two wells change. It is a function of time.

Now since the double well tilts in time, each moment in time for the Hamiltonian corresponds to a specific tilt. Using this, I then calculate $|\psi _{a}^{n}>$ at each moment in time which is the nth asymmetric eigenfunction for the corresponding tilt. I called it instantaneous because it is time independent and is a function of the tilt instead.
