Established in 1999, SiMTEISiMTEI is a enterprises and has been established first of its kind in the Himalayan State of Sikkim with its goal to provide the best all round opportunity, technology and services having its own training, outlets cum display centres in all over the State of Sikkim. SiMTEI is licensed and recognized by the Government of Sikkim with initial goal to provide latest all round technologies, services, trade and opportunities to the people of Sikkim. SiMTEI has been established first in the Himalayan state of Sikkim with the goal to provide the best all round training technology courses having its own Institutions at the different places in the state of Sikkim. The Institution is licensed and recognized from Government of Sikkim with initial goal to train on motor driving, motor mechanics, vocational trainings and road safety training. The basic objectives is not only to produced driver but safe driving with sound knowledge of motor mechanisms, traffic, rules, motor vehicle act & rules, regulations towards overall skill developments and dedicated to make Sikkim road safer by helping learners become smart and responsible motorists. The establishment of the Institution is to enhance the present Government policy for the self-employment generation schemes and need of the time. At present, the Institution has its motor driving, motor mechanics, road safety, Tour Guide and vocation training courses on training sectors and latest technologist computerize automobile fitness centre, automobile workshop and auto emission testing centre at Gangtok & Jorethang which is ever first of its kind in the state of Sikkim. The institution also organizes various types of training courses under Government sponsorship for the local educated unemployed youths of Sikkim from where they are getting job opportunities on government as well as private sector plying taxis and opening garages to connect hand to mouths for their livelihood. Awareness programme for the youth in Sikkim is another motive of our Institution. More than 5,000 product of these Institutions has got job opportunities in different government and private sectors in and around Sikkim. Beside all these courses, the Institution has successfully conducted refresher training on road safety, Traffic class and HIV`AIDs course to the transport drivers of Sikkim since 2001 regularly. The Institution dedicated to the enhancement of income generation potential, their capacity building, skill development and technology make more reliant. The future objectives of the Institution are to introduce new types of technologies and business style in and outside the state of Sikkim.
