[[1]]Ronald L. Sukeena, American Stage Actor and Voice Impressionist

Born in [2]Pottsville, PA in [[3]]1977 to an Irish mother Colleen Houston, and a Ukraine/Polish father Ronald C. Sukeena. Ronald’s parents divorced in 1981, Colleen and her son Ronald moved to New Jersey to be closer to her mother Florence T. Houston (d. 1988) and father Maurice “Skip” Houston, (d. 2005) along with Colleen’s sisters Diane, Florence “Pinky”, Eleanor, and her two brothers Maurice “Hackett” and Martin Houston.

The famous Jersey Shore is where Ronald grew up and went to high school at [[4]]Monmouth Regional High School in [[5]]Tinton Falls. During high school, Ronald studied law enforcement and U.S./World history. In 1991 Ronald joined the [[6]]Fort Monmouth [[7]]Police Explorers, a group for youths to study law enforcement and learn hands on training to be a police officer.

Upon graduating high school in 1996 (with aspirations of being a police officer)Yet not qualified due to the fact that he is a bozo who thinks he should have a wiki page, Ronald joined the [8]Eatontown Police Department as an [9]Auxiliary Police Officer and was hired at [10]Monmouth Mall as a security officer. During this period Ronald studied voice impersonations and was able to impersonate various cartoon characters, along with famous actor’s voices.

With his new found gift, Ronald started recording tapes and using his talent in search of a new career. In 1997 fellow security officer Sean Morris asked Ronald is he was interested in acting in a public access TV show. Giving some consideration, Ronald joined the cast of Run-A-Way Television. An improvisational show on a local cable channel, Ronald played many characters including [[11]]William Shatner, a mobster, and various small parts. While on patrol at Monmouth Mall, Ronald would be recognized from the show and at times asked to give his autograph.

In February of 2006, Ronald was asked to perform in a play at the[12]Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. Albert Smith-Holmes cast member and Ronald’s best friend needed someone who can act as a police officer and be a tough racist cop. Although Ronald is racist, his acting skills would take his career into a whole new light.

For the first time performing on stage, along with an all black cast for [[13]]Iziko: Once Upon a Stoop, (An original stage play written and directed by [[14]]Neptune Pringle III) Ronald had a difficult time using certain language and profanities that his character portrayed. Albert Smith-Holmes coached Ronald and gave him the confidence he needed to tell the story. The entire cast liked Ronald and supported him; they knew he can project the character Officer # 2 in the fashion he was written. Ronald’s skills and Albert’s coaching proved to be successful.

Opening night of Iziko came; Ronald was very nervous, he took the stage and gave Officer # 1 life. Not expecting anyone to like his character, nor him after the show, Ronald was met with open arms as the cast, the crew, and the audience congratulated him for a terrific performance. Upstairs, while going to meet Anios, several people approach Ronald and shook his hand, told him how well he acted and even asked for autographs.

Still living at the [15]Jersey Shore, Ronald continues acting and performing, enjoying the company of his family and friends.
