At 00:44 GMT on 30 October 2024, a fire was reported at BAE's nuclear submarine shipyard in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, England.[1][2] Two people, thought to be suffering smoke inhalation, were taken to hospital, though BAE says the two have since been released. The Police have said that everyone was "evacuated" and that they are all "accounted for".[3]
