The Beginning Of The Movement Begins With The Left Out Dj's Who Helped Build It
[edit][1][2]At the beginning stages of this new thing that was building in the Bronx, NY now called Hip Hop. We always hear about DJ. Kool Herc, Bambaataa, Grandmaster Flash but there were other DJs that helped contribute to having crowns come together to join this fast-moving movement now better known to be Hip Hop Movement. Disco King Mario 0f the first division of the Black Spades who reside in Brondale Projects in the Bronx, NY also helped in the building creation for Hip Hop culture and added to this Movement. In the 1970's the DJ was the most popular figure the crows came to see, Disco King Mario was known for playing up-tempo disco and having a powerful sound system with very good quality, Mario and his group Chuck Chuck City were most prominent in the Southeast Bronx, Disco King Mario is credited as a mentor to MC Busy Bee Starski and is known to frequently give block parties in Rosedale Park In The Bronx, New York. It is widely said among the hip hop legends that Mario's passing on May 21, 1994, is basically written out of Hip Hop History, Mario's passing was due to losing his long battle with drugs.
