A wild idea: in the future, there will be no currency. None. Because robots could completely do everything that humans would get paid for. Jobs, works of art, etc. Then, money will suddenly not be needed... as humans would not have anyone to give it to. Walk up to a grocery store, who you gonna pay? The robot? Eventually, there will be a point in time where currency can be completely abolished. No money. Anywhere. Housing? Robots can build it. Food? Robots can make it. There would be no such thing as a homeless person. World hunger would end. The world would be perfect.
Interestingly enough, a lot of people have asked me where robots will come from. Commission squads of robots to mine and refine materials, and commission some to build others, etc. etc. woo then we all die.
