Vokab Kompany is a 7-piece live electro hip-hop group from San Diego, California. The band consists of Geoff Nigle (Keyboards), Spencer Sharpe (Violin), Aaron Cheatham (Bass guitar), Rob Hurt (Vocals), Matt “Burkey” Burke (Vocals), Alvaro Nunex (Drums), and Jeremy Holmes (Electric Guitar).^[1] The group was nominated for “Best Hip Hop” at the 2009 San Diego Music Awards.^[2] The group has most notably collaborated with Grammy award winning artist Lateef the Truthspeaker on their single [All The Same People], which was featured in URB Magazine in October 2009.^[3]
