Andy Smallman (Andrew Smallman; born )is the founder and director of Puget Sound Community School in Seattle, Wash.[1] Andy also the facilitates the online class "The Practice of Kindness."[2] The purpose of the class is "to have fun while being kind, to see how being kind to others is actually being kind to ourselves, and to start ripples of kindness that will be felt in far away places, touching others and creating even more kind acts."[3] Andy facilitates an advanced class called "The Power of Kindness," which uses Piero Ferrucci's book of the same name as the primary text.
The classes have garnered press coverage from around the nation, and were named "Idea of the Day" from former White House Speechwriter and bestselling author Daniel H. Pink[4].
