[edit]Jeanette Buerling (born November 15th, 1964 in Düren [1]) is a film producer working in Hollywood. Buerling attended the Bretzelnweg secondary school in Düren, the Burgau Gymnasium and the Commercial College. After that she studied Applied Economics at the Cologne University and worked then at RTL, one of the biggest privat television stations, in Colone as secretary. In 1989, she was a production assistant and worked on shows such as Dream Wedding and The Price is hot. In 1992 she did a three-month internship in America. She then worked as a producer in Munich. In 1999 she got a green card and moved to Los Angeles. There she studied dramaturgy and script development at the University of Southern California. In 2004 she was transferred to the entertainment division of the Far East National Bank in Los Angeles. There she made 41 television and film projects for major studios such as Fox Broadcasting Company, Warner Bros. and Walt Disney Pictures, and various U.S. television. In 2008 she founded the film financing and production company Magnet Media Group (MMG) in Beverly Hills. MMG has offices in London, Cologne and Munich. She is also known as an international film finance expert and has worked together with the "Zurich Film Festival" and the American "Variety Maganize" 2010, "Film Finance Forum Zurich" initiative. She is Co-Chair of Film Finance Forum Zurich.
