Article Evaluation - (Cleaner fish)

• Is everything in the article relevant to the article topic? Is there anything that distracted you?
  • Everything in this article seemed to be relevant to the main topic. It contains a good mixture between text and images.
• Is the article neutral? Are there any claims, or frames, that appear heavily biased toward a particular position?
  • Yes, the article was neutral. The information that was presented is all factual, with little bias. There was a sentence that started with "the best known cleaner fish", which could be considered biased, unless there was a study done that proved that the "cleaner wrasses" is the best known cleaner fish.
• Are there viewpoints that are overrepresented, or underrepresented?
  • The article did not contain many viewpoints, as most of the information that was discussed is factual.
• Check a few citations. Do the links work? Does the source support the claims in the article?
  • Yes, I tested most of the links and they all seem to be working. Yes the information in the links do support what the article is discussing.
• Is each fact referenced with an appropriate, reliable reference? Where does the information come from? Are these neutral sources? If biased, is that bias noted?
  • Yes, the facts are all backed up with a reference. Some of the references are links to other Wikipedia pages, but eventually refer to some journal or other reliable source.

  • I cannot comment on whether the information is out of date or not. There might have been some new discoveries since the last major update of the page in 2007. I think the article could go into more detail about what makes these fish special.

  • There is some discussion from a couple years ago about merging this article with the article about cleaner shrimp. However, it hasn't been discussed since then.

  • We have not discussed the topic of the cleaner fish in class.
