An example of fossils Dr. Helen Morningstar Lamborn had documented and found within the Pottsville Formation. From her books 'Pottsville Fauna of Ohio'

With multiple layers forming this location and abundance of coal and marine fossils, Helen catalogued the different marine life characteristics and the different fossils that may pertain to the different strata's .
