Born on Long Island, Jaime grew up doing children's shows at the Arena Playhouse in Farmingdale and other local theaters. At the dawn of the new millennium, she began appearing on AMC Interstitials and in print ads, including a world-wide Stolichnaya Vodka campaign.[2] In 2001, Jaime booked her first pilot for then TNN's show "Crash Test," [3] which, in 2004, aired two episodes on SpikeTV before it was cancelled. In 2002, she received underground acclaim for her role in Amusement Films' "It's a Haunted Happenin'!" [4]
After moving to Los Angeles in 2005, Jaime appeared as the lady-half of the "Demolition Couple" on the My Chemical Romance DVD "Life on the Murder Scene." [5] She joined the Sacred Fools Theater company, for which she would later serve as Business Manager, Managing Director and as an Artistic Committee member. [6] During this time, Jaime penned the "Start Here" column of advice for new actors in Backstage magazine, in addition to several full-length articles and cover stories. [7]
In 2007, she appeared in Eric Lane's Slamdance short film "Paralegal." [8]
Becoming known as a top commercial actor, Jaime did the Showtime pilot, "Not Penn Jillette," which led to her work on the "Carbon Credits" and "Organic Food" episodes of "Penn & Teller: Bullshit!"[9] Following this, Jaime began her gig as a commentator on the "TruTV Presents: World's Dumbest..." [10] series, and she is currently shooting a project with Sean McNamara (Soul Surfer), Academy Award Winner Jon Voight and Crystal Sky Films. [11]
Jaime has a ridiculously cute rescue dog named Myshkin, after the protagonist in Dostoevsky's novel, The Idiot. [12]
