[edit]- This section concerns only the evolution of the blazon of the coat of arms of Norway and of the unions in which Norway took part, not distinct renderings of the blazon at a given point in time. Thus, although various for example the shape of the lion's axe was altered over time, and various stylisations of the blazon have been formally approved, this list does not reflect these alterations in stylisation.
