'Clash of Kings the MMO game 'Clash of Kings is a mobile based mmo strategy game, owned by ELEX inc a china based company. It is currently available for android and ios. The game has nearly 50 million downloads on google play. The game allows players to control a "castle" in which players can build and upgrade various buildings, train four types of units archers, infantry, siege troops and cavalry. each unit has level one to level 10 troop level. the game rewards players who are online more hours rather than rewarding strategic gameplay like other strategy games.
The game is constantly improved by the developers, new features are introduced constantly taking feedback of players into account. in game currency "gold" can be purchased for real money or can be farmed in the game. gold can also be earned by participating in events which are held regularly. many players complain that higher level players are indestructible by lower levelled ones, recently the developers introduced new rules to make the game equally favourable for all level players.
the game allows players to group under the banner of "alliance" and make war with another alliance. the alliance fort is constructed in the map, the region around the map are the territory of the particular alliance. this feature brings in politics, dirty betrayals and loyal friendships into the gameplay which makes it interesting.
The "Palace" is at the centre of each kingdom and every week there is a war for palace. the alliance which successfully controls the palace for 8 hours will be given the right to elect the king. the palace is surrounded by a region called black earth where the pace of marching troops is slacken.
