- Spring: Chaitramasam, Vaishakhamasam. - Trees sprout and flower
- Summer: Jestamasam, Ashadhamasam - The suns are mounds
- Monsoon: Shravanamasam, Bhadrapadamasam. - Rainfall is high.
- Autumn: Ashvayujamasam, Kartikamasam. - The moons are much brighter.
- Winter: Margashiramasam, Pusyamasam. - It's snowing, it's cold
- Fall: Maghamasam, Falgunamasam.- Trees shed their leaves.
